15-year-old prodigy Joan Esteban Sandoval opens the '20 anys de l''orgue de Sant Josep' cycle

Opening concert of '20 anys de l''orgue de Sant Josep', the six-month cycle (31 October 2026 to 6 May 2027) marking twenty years of the church organ. Titled 'Els teclats virtuosos: La passio dels 15 anys', it is given by 15-year-old Barcelona musician Joan Esteban Sandoval Diaz, a former Escolania de Montserrat pupil and prizewinner at the EPTA 2025 and 'Music without Limits' competitions. The programme sets the Sant Josep organ in dialogue with the portable PocketPiano, moving between styles to highlight the organ's timbral range. Free entry until the church is full.
